Villages of Gower |

Looking at a map of the Gower it is easy to see that the North Gower is less anglicised than South Gower and indeed the Normans divided it into Anglicana - English Gower and Wallicana – Welsh Gower. Place names such as Llanmorlais and Llanridian are in contrast with Langland and Newton of South Gower. With the exception of Mumbles the smaller villages in Gower are not tourist destinations in themselves but some of the churches are of architectural and historical interest. |
